Coocup is one of my school projects designed to provide immersive assistance to people using Augmented Reality.
It started from my memory of wanting to bake but giving up due to complicated measurements. I also discovered that many international students, like myself, who have recently moved to Canada do not have basic cooking tools such as measuring cups or kitchen scales at home. And it leads me to create an AR product that allows easy measurements with any cup.
Simplify the cooking process while making it more enjoyable and accessible for users without measuring tools.
A survey of 30 participants revealed that many users lack measuring tools and find cooking measurements complex, especially in baking, often discouraging them from trying it.

A cylinder can take different shapes by adjusting its height and radius, while keeping the total volume constant. Based on this principle, a slider-based UI allows users to adjust a virtual cylinder and see the volume in real time.
Users can adjust values, change colors, and view records instantly within a single page, creating a fast and seamless workflow without interruptions.
Saved recipes allow users to instantly measure ingredients. Selecting a recipe automatically fills a virtual cylinder with the correct volumes, enabling quick and accurate preparation without manual input.
With intuitive menu and step controls, users can quickly return to any previous step to review or make changes whenever needed.
